【Speaker Introduction】
Professor Kazuo Asano is currently the Vice President of Heisei International University. In addition to his academic research and administrative duties, he is actively involved in local government administrative reforms and local autonomy affairs. He has long served as the chairman and advisor of various administrative reform committees and local autonomy promotion committees at different levels of government in Japan, fulfilling the university’s social responsibility.
Moreover, Professor Kazuo Asano specializes in East Asian geopolitics and places great emphasis on the impact of AI development on social science research. Through this lecture, our faculty and students will be able to gain insights from different perspectives, deeply understand the collaboration and conflicts between academic research and practical implementation, and learn how to contemplate the frontier developments in social sciences amidst the wave of AI advancements.
